Today we had 57 kilometers of pure challenge for our new Juniors.
It was a beautiful crisp 9c morning on the back side of Al Qudra. Meeting time and all the players were on time for the trip. Everyone was deflated and set to go by 0650, we held the safety meeting, assigned convoy order, then lined up for the radio check.
I don’t even know where to begin, I have to praise those guys so much! I will try to keep it simple, but they deserved so much more.
Very early start as it was still dark while we deflated, everyone on time but before we could start briefing one Fella had coolant issues and had to turn back home to be on the safe side.
Very chilly morning, with a late cancellation, joiner and some Fellas taking to long to deflate and get ready. This is not standard and must improve!
After many trips, brushing and polishing and fighting with roster Gonzo is officially Senior per Desert Fellas standards!
What a great morning!
Everyone on time, deflated, flags up and briefing completed, we started moving 8AM sharp. That’s the spirit Fellas!
Great to see new faces joining the club. Welcome everybody!!!
