Basic training lesson 1
And so, a new generation of Basic trainees embarks on their journey, and today marked day one of many off-road adventures to come.
Lesson 1 was all about finding your rhythm and starting to piece together the puzzle of a much larger picture yet to be revealed. The day’s objectives were to cover a longer drive compared to Discovery and to incorporate many elements of our ten disciplines.
The morning went smoothly, despite hitting a sand storm halfway through the trip which severely cut visibility. Our trainees pushed through to new limits regardless.
With the day’s objectives overachieved and everyone very pleased with our progress, we completed our lesson and arrived at the exit point on schedule. After a group debrief and tire inflation, we were on our way home. Many thanks to Pavel for his excellent sweeper support this morning. Looking forward to seeing what our trainees bring to Lesson 2!
