We started bright and early, with everyone on time for a sweep through the desert from Al Madam roundaoubt to Pink Rock and back. With high winds it was both beautiful sandy, but it was much needed sweeping of the area which we took full advantage of and manged to make a lot of new tracks.

We warmed up by sloping all the way to 2nd of December where we took our first break overlooking pink rock.
From there it was smooth sailing with tight turns and plenty of sloping. When we reached Chef’s Bowl, we took a short second break.

Unlike the previous week, only a few other convoys was out on the sand.
We continued on toward Big Red, making good time, so we decided to swing around and throw in a few more dunes than originally planned. After conquering Big Red from every angle, we rolled out of the desert in great spirits.
