Thriller
How do you plan to spend your Hijri New Year day off? Of course—off-roading in the desert. Returning to that beloved area with towering dunes and no traffic at all.
Despite the hot weather, our cars are eager to conquer every crest in the area, and we do so with patience and confidence, getting our adrenaline fix as we tackle dune after dune. Some of the ridges were taken at sharp angles, pushing our cars to their limits, nearly sliding down the sides.
After a while, the dunes grew taller and taller—a sign that we were approaching Temple Bowl. Finally, we arrived. This time, we decided to slice right through the middle of that beautiful dune. And the plan was executed 100% successfully —Temple Dune was split in half two different ways, with engines roaring and endless fun.
A well-deserved break for both drivers and cars followed, filled with the aroma of coffee and great conversation. Then it was time to move toward Nagra, passing a caravan of camels blocking the way, giving our cars a brief rest.
Nagra welcomed us with no other vehicles around, so we seized the opportunity to conquer it from all sides, getting our usual adrenaline rush from this iconic spot. After Nagra, we tackled numerous crests at high speed, eventually making our way back to the exit point.
Three hours of pure driving excitement left us with incredible memories—and the urge to return to this area again and again.
See you all on the sand soon!
