Coconapple
Drive and Report by Pavel
Back in our beloved area with a team craving adrenaline and adventure. This time, Sweihan greeted us with high humidity, forcing us to drive with windows open as our windshields fogged up, reducing visibility. We used this stretch as a proper warm-up, and thankfully, the sun soon dried the air, allowing us to resume normal driving.
Numerous switches and side slopes led us to the amazing, untouched Temple Bowl – a perfect chance to practice carving fresh tracks. After playing in the dune, we took a well-deserved break, watching another convoy (who arrived right after us) perform their moves. Fueled by coffee and good conversation, we returned to our vehicles and exited the Temple bowl via the steepest face of that beautiful dune.
Nagra welcomed us with surrounding traffic, and we encountered yet another convoy cresting the peak from the opposite side. Thanks to Ryan’s guidance, we navigated through safely and confidently. After some playful switches around Nagra, we headed toward another big dunes.
On the return leg, we ramped up the intensity of the drive level from mid to hard, enjoying bursts of adrenaline along the way. With such a professional team in convoy, even the toughest switches and steep side slopes felt effortless.
As always, time flew by, filled with unforgettable moments that will stay in our memories. Thank you, Oriol and Ryan, for being part of the team during my first lead drive with DF. I thoroughly enjoyed the ride and was honored to join you today. See you soon back on the sand for future adventures and more great memories!
