Trip and Report by Anders. We started bright and early, with everyone on time for a sweep through the desert from Nazwa to Big Red via Pink Rock. With just a bit of humidity, it turned out to be a lovely morning.

Long zigzags guided us smoothly through the “lowlands” and scattered vegetation as we warmed up, until we reached the bigger dunes. After picking up some speed and crossing every dune in our path without incident, we took our first break at the beautiful Chef’s Bowl.

The desert was buzzing that day—with bikes, quads, tourists, paragliders, and quite a few other convoys sharing the sand. From our vantage point, we had a great time watching the action unfold.

We continued on toward Big Red, making good time, so we decided to swing around and throw in a few more dunes than originally planned. After conquering Big Red from every angle, we rolled out of the desert in great spirits.

Big thanks to Sven and Adam for keeping the convoy together and safe!
