Returning to the desert during the hottest weather of the season might sound strange, but it’s worth it to escape the city heat and experience thrilling morning views at Sweihan’s iconic spots. Old Lady is one such spot, its boundless views will leave you in silent awe.

We reached this Dune with a full convoy, but after cresting and side-sloping, one vehicle had to withdraw due to engine overheating. After safely escorting that car to the exit road, we returned to Old Lady. There, we flat-crested the highest peak and enjoyed exhilarating side-sloping maneuvers.

Next, we headed to Temple Bowl, a guaranteed adrenaline rush! As always, it delivered heart-pounding drops, followed by a well-deserved break in the shade of trees. Over coffee and conversation, we recharged before hitting the sand again.

During a long cresting section, we smoothly handled two self-recoveries (an easy task for our sweeper). Later, we entered an area with endless opportunities for switches and side-sloping, where we had an absolute blast.
Finally, after covering over 75 km of desert driving, we reached the exit point buzzing with that post-adventure adrenaline high. It was a true pleasure driving with such a professional team. See you all soon on the sand again!
