Ledgens Ledge

As summer cools down, afternoon drives are almost back in full swing!

With the weather turning in our favour, it was the perfect time to head out for a relaxed drive through one of our favourite spots—Faqqa Gahf Forest. The area is a hidden gem in Dubai, offering some of the most peaceful and naturally beautiful scenery around.

Our adventure began smoothly, with easy navigation through soft desert slopes, carefully avoiding shrubs along the way. We soon reached our chill spot, where we indulged in homemade snacks and refreshing drinks while watching the sun dip behind the desert crests. As dusk began to settle, we packed up and made our way toward the exit.

Some of us inflated our tires and headed home, while a few stayed behind to light the BBQ and enjoy a stunning sunset, sparkling stars, and some awesome grilled treats.

A big thanks to everyone for a wonderful afternoon and a special shoutout to Anders for joining us back on the sand after a few weeks. See you all on the slopes .

Advanced Training Lessons 1&2

With winter just within reach, our final advanced training session of the year kicked off, gearing up these off-road aficionados for the epic adventures this coming season promises.

We started our first lesson in the sweltering heat of the mid-afternoon, pushing through until sunset. After a brief recharge at home, we were back at it just a few hours later for lesson two—right at the crack of dawn. That’s right, two lessons back-to-back, keeping the pressure on to mold this team into diamond-tier drivers.

We began where it all started, with a refresher on the basics. But within just an hour, the course exploded into advanced techniques and maneuvers. By the end of lesson two, this band of extreme off-road brothers was conquering unbelievable crests. Today was a true testament to their perseverance over the past few months, and they delivered more than anyone expected.

I can’t wait to see what they bring to the table in the next few lessons as they prepare to graduate as full-fledged off-roaders. A huge thank you to Malcs and Ryan for the exceptional support as always.

NEAR SIDE

Surprisingly pleasant temperatures and light breeze greeted us as the meeting point, a nice refresher after a long and hot summer with signs the season is changing and soon the offroad and camping season begins.
