WARRIORS DANCE
A strong return to the sands for some seasoned veterans and the beginning of a thrilling new chapter for our growing community of off-roaders.
Eager to beat the rush hour traffic we made our warm up, the area filled with tracks we searched for untouched crests to flatten, the sand firm, fairly chewed and very soft in parts made for a bumpy and unpredictable ride requiring full concentration from the get go.
Our first break was a welcome opportunity to wipe the seat from our brows and catch up over a cup of karak with plenty of banter whilst preparing for the next set of challenges – conquering the famed bowls in the region.
Slicing through ghost bowl as a small appetizer we hit the popular iftar bowl finishing with super bowl for supper. Our well-oiled team of off-roaders meant we could keep the revs and climbs high skirting around convoys enjoying the elevated positions without too much disruption.
A sidewall failure on one of our tires called for a brief pit stop. But what could have been an inconvenience became a chance for a well-earned rest and a bit of camaraderie as the damaged tire was replaced whilst gearing up to finish strong.
It was an action-packed morning filled with adrenaline, teamwork, and plenty of laughs. Special thanks to Marcin and Pete, it was fantastic having you back on the sand again and a huge shoutout to Marshall Marc for the expert guidance, and to Matt, Harun, and Adam for pushing the limits.
Looking forward to seeing you on softer slopes soon.
