As the sun cast first light upon the meeting point, the air calm, and with a pleasantly cool temperature our adventurers had high expectations for the journey ahead. We extended a warm welcome to both our junior and senior members, taking the chance to exchange tales of both on-road and off-road escapades during the summer break.
Our plan was simple which resembled a flock of birds, seeking resources along their journey.
Driving through the amber lit streets of the city en-route to the meeting point with a scorching mercury reading of 35°C it seemed a challenging adventure could be on the cards.
With air temperatures pleasantly cooler than expected and our adventurers in high spirits ahead of the Eid break we started our warm up venturing into the wilderness navigating the densely packed desert flora.
Recovery equipment put to the test!
Today we welcomed our new graduates into the fold who’s past 6 weeks training had equipped them with the skills needed for a drive in this new area together with familiar faces with friends and family guests who wanted to understand ‘what this off-roading is all about.’
Advance Junior lvl 1 drive is a no easy task to reach!
Well I started with Desert Fellas in mid 2020, after researching a multitude of other clubs that were either in it to get you to wreck your car so they could repair it or specific cars that they mod for desert driving , it reeked of business and monies schemes.
