Into the Wild – A birds eye view

With air temperatures pleasantly cooler than expected and our adventurers in high spirits ahead of the Eid break we started our warm up venturing into the wilderness navigating the densely packed desert flora.

We weren’t the only ones looking to start the weekend with an adrenaline fix as we were joined by a squadron of paragliders hovering above at a very low altitude that made for scenes out of some kind of action movie.

Following higher paced side sloping fun we took a short break to welcome our new graduate Steven into the fold who after 6 weeks of training was equipped with the skills to navigate what laid ahead.

A technical area consisting of sharp crests, short steps and steep descents with pockets of very soft sand in places but with a steady pace the convoy kept moving as we maneuvered through the terrain to find nice dune formations where we played before heading to the exit as scheduled.

Great work team! without any stucks or second try’s especially for our drivers with long wheelbases was impressive!  Special thanks to Javier for the expert support and guidance and our second lead Marcin for the clear comms.

See you all on the sand soon.

  1. Great drive indeed – smooth and steady pace in spite of super-technical terrain at some points – a long drive around of 65 km covered

Looking forward to the next one soon!
