ENTER SANDMAN – Report
First of all, I’d like to say a great big thank you to all those that have attended today’s drive and supported me in making this trip possible. Without you, this trip wouldn’t have happened at all!!!
Catch UP!!! – Report
Meeting up for a lovely afternoon ride almost everyone arrived on time. Rules, safety briefing and convoy order done by Salah and Marko.
We started with a soft warm up crossing some dunes and having a few stuck and second tries (lets remember to stop the convoy next time till the convoy order is back inline).
Fresh Start Trip – report
We met today at 2pm at Al Qudra for the fresh start trip of the Ab Initio 4th generation.
Everyone was on time although somehow we had two different meeting points due to some misreading of the GPS.
Bumps and Humps Drive – report
We started the morning a bit late because of a few late arrivals (pls. let’s all try to be always on time this is what makes us different and shows our mutual respect) with a short briefing about the details of the trip.

What an amazing drive it was! It was a very easy route and maybe some Fellas were not challenged enough 🙂 – the drive was to enjoy the weather and fantastic landscape! We all had a good time…I enjoy organizing these event trips!

Well, we did it today and it was … great !!!
This trip was a challenge for all those who participated . But let’s start from the beginning.
Sleeping Beauties Trip
Today we had lot’s of challenges. From two wheel drive until intro to cresting and switching. I must say we learned a lot and some members will never be the same. We had 2 ladies today and they were shining stars. They showed lot’s of skills and lot’s of improvement. It was quite long and demanding drive today but everyone kept focus till last minute.
Midweek Run
The best way to describe drive today would be a VIP trip. A small number of vehicles, lots of technical challenges and a lots of time deal with details. But let’s start from the beginning.
Desert Recovery Training
Half a day of action and laughter, that would be the best description of the training today. All members had a chance to get stuck with their cars and to be pulled out, or vice versa. What did we actually learned? We learned procedure in case of desert stuck and many details about it. We also learned how to lead recovery procedure…
