We started the morning with a short direct briefing and nice positive vibes.
Nice convoy with good order and communication, we experienced a few cresting and side cresting, we had the opportunity to practice in a small bold with self recovery and to brief about the proper technique.
Started the morning a bit behind schedule because of late arrival but kicked off the day in a positive note, congratulating to members Amir and Saboor who have full safety equipment checked with Desert Fella’s flags and stickers.
Salah touched the sand for the first time on 21st Jan 2019. Since than, he is doing his best to attend each and every drive.
After eleven drives, including two secret drives, we agreed that he is ready for the next level of our challenges. Hard work came through
After Heavy rain and morning coffee we started exactly where we ended last time on our first Ab Initio Junior drive.
We learned some new techniques and we shared several tips and tricks followed by 2 hours drive.
With Suhaib as our leader today think we were all surprised by our by how capable our cars really are!
Today we “worked a lot”!!!
It was nice and fun! Most important was positive energy and safety as imperative. Today were working on “Cresting, Switching and Side Sloping”, which we are considering as advanced junior or beginner offroader level.
We were working on techniques in low speed to gain confidence, better feeling and control over car. All fellas did a good job and we closed this lesson with several repetitions.
Dear friends, our buddy Moamin just reached Desert Fellas Offroader level.
Moamin started with us on 13th of Jan from very beginning. He kept up with our drives and activities, and his skills at this moment are good enough to start driving in level 2.
It was a real pleasure to see new faces on our Ab Initio 3 and also to see our members in supporting roles. This all concept is very young but serious as you had chance to witness.
We left the rainy clouds behind us and managed to caught the morning sunshine. So, “Operation Sunshine” succeeded!!!
“Sunshine Operation” drive was in junior level with occasional offroader level bites. After first switch to the offroader level we got our first stuck that took us some time, but we had the opportunity to refresh our knowledge from recovery training.
