Dark side of the moon

Share with your friends!

Dark side of the moon drive started with a nice 30 degrees of temperature. After our safety briefing we started to move along the fence line for about 3.5 km for our entry point. We were all excited to see what was ahead of us.

We started the drive with a warmup since some fellas have not gone Offroad for some time. It didn’t take long to get the momentum going. So we started to climb the high dunes.

We made our way to the high dunes around the area making sure we passed by all obstacles at sight. We were moving fast and we found the places empty from other convoys. When the other convoys reached our location we were already ready go.

By the time we reached Iftar bowl we already had a big smile on our faces. We continued to make our way to Super bowl, passing through all the convoys in the area.

Once we reached super bowl we had a short break to catch up and joke around. After the break, we continued to make our way to the exit point.

On our way to the exit one of the fellas had a small issue with the secondary gas tank, the pressure had built up and needed to be vent.

Once we dealt with that we were ready to exit as per our planned time.

I would like to thank Marko, Preggy and everyone else who joined the drive, I’ll see you on the next one.

Thanks for this great drive dear fellas. It is always a blast to team up with you and to continue to learn how to drive on the sand !! 🙌🙌

Javier worked hard to reach team leader status and in the end it paid off. He honored us with his best lead so far and it was a pleasure to follow his lines. Smart and mature but dynamic and exciting driving pace gave us an advantage over other groups in a very busy desert. The convoy literally looked like a small train passing through the most popular spots in the Sharjah desert. Drawing the first lines in the sand on some of peek sports speaks about the integrity of the convoy and the quality of performance. It was a pleasure to see the smiles on the faces of the team mates who war participating in this well-coordinated team. After passing the exam, Javier is the team leader according to Desert Fellas standards. I wish him a lot of luck and success, smart and mature decisions and a lot of safe and fun tracks in the sand. Looking forward to see even more development in next few drives.

Congrats and keep the sand flying
