Discoverers joined us for what would be a fantastic day on the sand. It was amazing to see such a big turnout along with a diverse range of different cars, and for most of the group, driving in the desert for the first time.

What better way to make the most of the long weekend than an afternoon drive in Sweihan . Deflating in the shade behind a tree line, the air was filled with anticipation and excitement, mostly anticipation, as this was a first experience for me leading in this area.
Our Solar Storm convoy assembled as dawn was breaking in a fairly remote spot beyond the solar park. It was great to welcome back some fellas who had been off the sand for the summer and a chance to catch up before the safety briefing.
