Al Faq’a Picnic With Drive
What an enjoyable day it was! Thanks everyone for joining and spending this special day with me 🙂
Instead of the usual style trip, this time we put together a bbq lunch followed by a smooth driving. We met at the meeting spot and after deflation headed to our bbq spot – a beautiful, peaceful location where we settled under the shade of trees. After bqq we enjoyed a wide selection of birthday cakes – thanks again for bringing them along! Very yummy!
Around 3.15pm we started for our round trip – the area is still a hidden gem and was new to most of the drivers. It is a very scenic desert which requires some driving skills to master the wide spread dunes. We covered 17km in 70mins driving time. It was nice to have some new fellas around: Petr, GoneWalkabout, Dunevader and Tristan (…desert dingo…part of desert_family) – hope to see you more often in our trips in the future. desertsnake, desertfox and Marko it is always lovely to have your company!
Again, it was a gorgeous day we spend together and hope to see you all soon!

@desertbunny Congrats for your first official trip it was very well planed and executed. We had all elements of proper Junior trip with warm up, sloping, technical bytes. love love love the picnic spot and think it’s just perfect weather to start with having bbq before the drive … can not comment on the drive since I was walking with the dogs just remembered from driven there before that it was fun, so hopefully next time I’m in again… thanks everyone for the lovely afternoon spent in the desert and celebrating this special day with all of you was amazing

All in all it was a really fun day, enjoyed the bbq as well as the drive. Plus i got the honor of recovering my first patrol 😁
