The plan was a lazy loop from big red to pink rock and back. So far, that was the plan, but dense fog on the way towards the meeting point gave the impression that it will become interesting.

On the way to the drive, I saw thick clouds and wondered if we get rain during our trip, which would make things interesting.
At the meeting point it all cleared up, cars got deflated and we started the briefing. For two new juniors it was the first drive after graduation, so it was a big one.
Another day, another drive and a small convoy is usually a lot of fun.
Warmup was brisk, fast-paced, and usually what I would push towards the end of a trip, but I wanted to check that everyone was awake. All over this majestic dune with all the ups and downs, twists and turns was a great way to start the weekend.
The weekend was calling again, and as drive was named, it was supposed to be fast one. Our meeting was just after sunrise at the big red roundabout, and we aimed to make a fast run to pink rock and back crossing the big dunes along the way.
