Nazwa Plains

On the way to the drive, I saw thick clouds and wondered if we get rain during our trip, which would make things interesting.

At the meeting point it all cleared up, cars got deflated and we started the briefing. For two new juniors it was the first drive after graduation, so it was a big one.

Heading from Nazwa towards 2nd December cafeteria we found many strubs, but also some nice low dunes to keep us in their sides or the flat tops, which allowed us to cover ground quickly.

Closer to 2nd December, we spend some time on the dunes to its west and then to the east of the cafe. Both areas offer good climbs, sharp turns and fun for a while, before heading to chefs bowl for a well deserved break.

We took 15 min for a good break and get rest, before making our way towards big red. Short after departing chef’s bowl and pink rock we had to cross a bigger dune, which lead to some 2nd tries. This was a good opportunity for our new juniors to show their skills and practice more.

Short before reaching big red we took another short break, as the big one requires concentration. Up down, all around, we made two full runs in all sides of big red and added a crossing over the top at the end before concluding the drive.

Thanks to everyone joining, Nowar for 2nd lead and Anders for the diligent sweeping duties.
