Nema Predaje (eng. Never Give Up) was just like the subject says, this morning I’ve experienced that feeling when I realized that my car battery is flat.

My boys were already throwing good morning messages on the chat and started moving to the meeting point, but I told myself :”Never Give Up”. I found a cab, cables on petrol station, go back, start the car … I managed to reach the start point 6:04 (which is considered late). There was our cousin Gonzo, managing already situation so we ordered new battery to be delivered on the nearest exit on the road, approximately after first part of our trip. Guy tricked us with time of arrival of course, which turned from 10 minutes into 32! But he didn’t tricked us with higher price as he tried. We managed pretty much everything and we had still enough time to enjoy.

I started quite sharp crestings in high pace, we didn’t wait too long for first stuck and recovery. Than I’ve decided to slow it down a little bit, and it was nice. Couple stucks and self recoveries are part of the game. We visited some new places, hit some high dunes and overall it was nice trip. I only remember one thing which requires special attention related to car positioning on high dune.

All drivers did a good job today and seems they enjoyed a lot.

Looking forward to the next one.

  1. New area today and damn was the day dehydrating or what. The convoy was smooth with only second tries considering the terrain was new to most of us. Hope for another similar drive again. Until then chao…

  2. It was cool morning with a nice area having bit of everything, side cresting, arches and technical dunes. Apart from few second tries rest was all smooth sailing. Glad to see most of us are leveling up our skills.
