Mountains High, Valley Low
The gentle and slightly cool breeze that blew through Nazwa this morning, as we deflated our tires in preparation for the drive ahead, was most welcome.
After a timely safety briefing, the drive got off to a smooth slow pacedΒ start which is exactly what everyone needed to find their sand legs.
It wasnβt long before the small crescent shaped dunes gave way to long parallel rows of crested dunes which formed a gauntlet that led all the way to Pink Rock.
The convoy demonstrated good skill in the way they tackled the crests and the high climbs near Pink Rock. A good flow was maintained almost entirely throughout the drive with just two stucks and a few second tries, which our sweeper (Javier) made light work of. Admittedly, there were a few Fellas that still needed to fine tune their response to the demands of the tracks, but considering the amazing progress they have made thus far, it wonβt be long before they master their throttle control.
Thanks to Chef Marc for keeping a close eye on todayβs proceedings and to Rathica and Javier for their support in making this trip a success.

The trip was well planned and well coordinated with pleasant morning breeze with temperature at 32c, the adrenaline shout up from start and preggy ensure to have enjoyment drive from the start. The drive was mix of tackles and skills and punctuality was respected from start and finish and hood was up π.
Thanks Chef marc , Javier and 2nd lead Rathica for the support.
Nice morning ride , good flow great to meet the Fellas at sun rise βοΈ, thanks Preggy and team for the ride
Always a pleasure to drive with you fellas… Was a great trip with some good flow and fun challenges… As always look forward to being out on the sand with you guys soon ππ¨π¨
The cool breeze was quite welcome at sunrise. The Fellas were prepared and ready on time for the drive. All seemed in great spirits and the drive started with a good pace.
The drive was filled with a variety of challenges: straight Cresting, side sloping, some high climbs and dune Cresting. Preggy established some beautiful lines and the convoy moved through them with grace even though the sand was like power in some places.
We got to enjoy Pink Rock a few times with drivers trying and developing their climbing skills each time.
It is heart-warming to see da Fellas’ progress ito. their skills and confidence with each drive. Remember the Offroader mantra: Drive it Like You Stole itπππ With each drive, you drive: faster, better, higher, stronger…
Thank you to our Lead (intern) Preggy for putting together such a fun trip in a new area! It is wonderful to see your development as a lead; especially your commitment and dedication in developing your skills – seeing your days of careful planning in action πππ
@Javier I felt like we worked as a team to guide da Fellas along the route. You pushed da Fellas from the back; popped up safely along the route to ensure all were following the route; and you recovered drivers quickly. It was a pleasure being your team mate π and I’m glad you didn’t have to use your rope for me today π
That was a really amazing trip, so far this area is my favorite, thanks for the confidence you are implanting in us, and thanks to Preggy, Chef Marc, Rathica and Javier.
I liked how Javier kept pushing everyone to maintain proper safety distance! See you hopefully next weekend, or who knows maybe during the week π
Btw, I feel a bit guilty because @Michea and @Massimo couldn’t join π
it’s nice to see that everyone values each other’s time so we are well ahead of time at the deflation point.
5 stars for the trip plan, coordination and execution.
the trip was a mix of all techniques and that made it very much interesting. i played around with the rev limited on the hill climbs and it feels so nice to be able to push the car just above the limiter. location was great!
it was an effortless and cohesive team work from Preggy, Rathica, Javier and Chef.
onto the next one.
A very smooth drive and good tracks choice from Preggy, everyone did great job and we managed to finish the trip a bit earlier from the schedule because there was no too much time wasted, i enjoyed the high climb of the Pink Rock on high speed, those stuff makes you feel and understand your car better.
Thanks Preggy for that beautiful track, Rathica, Javier & Marc for the support.
See you soon πͺπ€
