Marquee Moon
Marquee Moon started with high 20s temperature. Everyone was ready on time and we proceeded to move along the fence line towards our start point.
We started our warm-up along the technical part of this area. We made our way towards the first high crests in the area. There were a few convoys in the area and the weather was warming up.
We kept going towards iftar bowl. To my surprise we found no convoys in some areas. We started playing around climbing the high crests around the area.
By this time we had a double stuck but nothing a winch can’t solve. We continued to make our way towards iftar bowl.
When we reached iftar bowl we made our way through all the convoys in the area. By this time the weather was getting hotter. We started to move towards Superbowl, since it was full of convoys we moved passed it and played around the area. After that we were ready to to move towards the exit.
We continued to move towards the exit, having lots of fun climbing and cresting all the obstacles on our way.

Another brilliant lead by Javier! His ability to find lines on virgin sand in a very busy area of the desert blows my mind. The double stuck was a bit tricky in very soft sand, but Javier an Zoubeir managed it like the pro’s they are!!

Adrenaline bomb that drive was, getting back to offroader drives with Javier is certainly a refresher and pleasure with the lines, techniques and much more.

I’m glad I joined this trip after a few weeks out. The warm up was nice and increasing in tempo to allow us to blend into the trip.
We played around a very busy area of Badayer but always making our way safely through numerous convoys and cowboys whilst having fun on each and every crest on in sight.
The tricky recovery was expertly handled by Javier and I was glad to have experienced it.
Looking forward to many more drives with such a great group of offroaders.
Can’t wait for next week-end!
