As dawn crept up on us, there was that mix of excitement and impatience among our crew. You could feel the buzz even before the sun peeked over the horizon. With the first splash of sunlight, we kicked off, ready to tackle the dunes.
A strong contingent of Fellas and Felicitas gathered at our meeting point as the first rays of sun illuminated Pink Rock.
Over the last training cycles, we have seen a habit evolve. After basic training 4 concludes, the support team takes the opportunity to make a short run from the exit of BT4 to al Faya Dune. It’s a short ride, but it can be intense and a lot of fun, as we usually are not in this area.
It was basic training 4 day everyone was looking forward to. BT 4 is a big step up from previous sessions and our trainees assembled at the meeting point before dawn eagerly looking forward to what was waiting for them today.
As first light broke over the meeting point, we could see these epic dunes and the challenges our team of off-roaders were about to conquer.
It was a great morning in the desert, with the early signs of a colder season showing. All fellas and felicitas arrived at the meeting point before dawn to get ready for the upcoming adventure. The recent rain promised to make it an interesting drive.
