PURE SHORES
Blessed with ideal temperatures and a slightly later start time, especially for those who relish an extra hour of rest, we were all in high spirits as we set out to explore new horizons in pursuit of pristine shores.
Over the years, this desert region has undergone significant transformation, now boasting abundant desert flora and wildlife that contribute to the essence of a genuine safari experience. Although the dune formations are notably smaller than what our seasoned off-roaders are accustomed to, any shortfall in size is compensated by remarkable diversity.
Cresting along the elongated ridge formations provided a perfect vantage point overlooking our serene surroundings, the blood red sun low in the sky, herds gazelles in the distance and flocks of birds above made for some picturesque moments and memories.
Deploying all of our advanced driving techniques meant we were completely free to roam where our hearts desired and it wasn’t long before we found what we were in search for.
Beneath the shelter of a row of Ghaf trees, it was the perfect moment for a friendly catch up over a cup of tea. This time, opting for English breakfast instead of karak.
Moving on and with a friendly wave to campers enjoying their morning coffee we made our way to a tricky technical area, with the revs low, and with a slow and steady pace we melodically carved out a path however the desert wouldn’t let us go without a fight and on a final straight crest we had our first victim. A quick recovery handled by Martin and we were back on the road.
Ahead of schedule and with no other dunes to flatten we decided to find another oasis spot whereby we unloaded the cooler boxes for some refreshments and banter rounding off the drive nicely.
As always, Marcin and Martin thank you for the great company and for a really enjoyable morning in nature.
See you on the sand soon.

It was certainly a novelty starting a drive fully awake! Fantastic lead by Malcolm with epic lines and nice challenges. A small convoy of experienced fellas allowed a nice flow through this beautiful landscape. What better way to start the weekend.
