The briefing started a little later than we planned because we had one latecomer. Not good!

We started the drive by climbing a medium-high dune for warmup. Then we switched to technical dunes and continued to raise challenges on medium-high dunes. From the beginning it was shaky but over the time convoy caught the pace. Later on fellas managed to conquer what seemed unconquerable.

This trip demonstrated the importance of discipline and teamwork in challenging environments. We have learned that each individual mistake can compromises movement of the entire group. We also learned that each beginner’s lesson gains more importance in further challenges. Communication and driving discipline are a key factor for smooth movement.

Not knowing the vehicle and not following the basic rules on difficult terrain leads to second tries and affecting the rest of the group. Training, and self improvement is answer.

Some fellas had the opportunity for the first time to be aligned in our standard formation. We had a little difficulty with the alignment but I hope that in the next runs this will be resolved.

Since the terrain was quite challenging this time we broke through the timeline but the fellas had a chance to see the Super Bowl and the Iftar Bowl for a very first time.

This was just an announcement of upcoming drives on more demanding terrain with higher pace. This was also an alarm that shows how each spoken word on our training has weight and only adherence and 100% involvement in training and repetition brings results, safety and benefit to the whole team.

After 45+ kilometers we closed this trip’

Thank you everyone for attending this drive and special thanks to our second lead Sven and sweeper Javier for excellent support.

Until next time, see you on the sand

  1. As always waking up early was made worth the effort with this mornings drive. The pace today was a bit shaky do to a lot of dtucks and second tries, but the spirit of everyone was very high.

By the end of trip pace picked up with some higher dunes and that got the heart pumping a bit and we ate it up like Sunday afternoon puding!!

Seeing what else is to come for us give my great excitement and anticipation. Love the feeling of progress I get every drive.

Thank you again so much for all of the personal sacrifice you guys do to teach us these skills..

    See you soon!!

A great and demanding drive where there was no space for little mistakes. Forgiveness was not at the menu today !

The middle part in the technical area and the last part in the bowls were ultra fun.

Happy to see the DF’s training is getting us step by step to a point I would never have imagine to reach elsewhere.

Dedication of the team was amazing today because even if we struggled sometimes, they always had a good word to make us understand there is always room for improvement.

Thanks Marko for your lead and for getting the best of us, Sven as second lead for your wise words and Javier for taking care of us.

    Amazing day today !

The weather was perfect, the desert was was nice and quiet and it was the best opportunity to get back into off-road driving.

I love seeing how DF is growing as a group and it’s not only us as drivers that are leaning and evolving but also the DF’s standard practices are also evolving and improving – the new standard formation is great, especially when you are waiting you turn for a challenge.

Can’t wait for the next drive, and to see what else DF’s has in store for us.

    See you all soon !
Have a good (long) weekend !!!

I heard that starting form Junior lvl 6 hands will start sweat, but I did not understand why – guys you won’t believe that even I kept my A/c to the max i was sweating like hill. Adrenalin everywhere.
you need to pay attention 120% to be on track like a train, push your car to the max, and stay alert to the communication over the radio, this is what I call multitasking.
Also the difficulty to keep yourself with NO deviation whatsoever, even it it’s only 1 inch.

Thanks to the second lead @svenhs and for the radio 🙃
Thanks to @javier for your sweeping and support.
Thanks to @s_safari for the great shots.
