At the meeting point for today’s drive we implemented a new line up formation.

Some adjustment was required initially, but once everyone got the hang of it, it proved to be very versatile in various settings.

The warm up wasn’t as smooth as it should have been due to minor technical issues that required the convoy to  stop a few times. Long Cresting near Pink Rock proved to be challenging for some Fellas and a few second tries were required before the the challenge could be completed. This was probably due to driver fatigue caused by the extremely high temperatures. Let’s see if we can fix this on the next drive.

As the convoy neared Pink Rock we were all dancing to the same beat. Just before reaching the bowl at Pink Rock we had a Fella exit the convoy due to a sick passenger.

Shortly afterwards the convoy exited the desert by taking a route through the sweeping dunes east of exit point, which brought the drive to a nice conclusion.
