Kilometers Conquered: 112 km. What was the plan? Simple! Malcolm and I decided to tackle the untouched dunes of Sweihan to scout out the coolest spots for Juniors and off-roaders and find the perfect campsite under the stars.
No paths, no signs of civilization—just us and a whole lot of sand. With the sun as our guide and excitement in our hearts, we ventured into the vast, open desert.
The terrain threw everything at us—sneaky technical spots that tested our skills and sprawling dunes that felt like sandy waves in an ocean of excitement.
Not much in the way of traditional landmarks, but plenty of opportunities to create our own.
From gnarly little challenges perfect for honing technical driving skills, to wide-open dunes where Juniors and Off-roaders can let loose and feel the rush.
We spotted several cozy nooks amidst the dunes, ideal for campers to pitch their tents and trade stories around a crackling fire.
Four hours in, and my car, ot being an FJ Cruiser started thirsting for fuel like there was no tomorrow.
We’ve only scratched the surface. There’s a whole desert out there waiting for us to roll our wheels over it, and we can’t wait to dive back in.
