2020 Kick Start
A beautiful start to the year with hot air balloons in the air to greet us at the meeting point.
All fellas were on time except for one who was a no show, in future please us let know if you can’t make it so convoy does not wait.
After the briefing we started off in an area of smaller dunes with some easy side slopes to warm up, after a few second tries and self recoveries we made our way through technical area where the convoy had some good flow.
The dunes started to open up and convoy had some fun with side sloping and long decents then ending up at Amir’s Hill before heading to the exit after 42km. Even though we had many second tries, self recoveries and stuck situations today our new Jr’s did a great job. I could see the improvement and confidence growing through out the trip, yet much still to improve.

Great start to the year Fellas. Looking forward to seeing the progress of the new Jr’s, we have much to learn together. Thanks to Luca for 2nd Lead and Salah for sweeping, you guys did a excellent job.

I can see from this drive the progress I have made, but still need to be more confident with the skills Desert Fellas have taught me.
