It was a great morning in the desert, with the early signs of a colder season showing. All fellas and felicitas arrived at the meeting point before dawn to get ready for the upcoming adventure. The recent rain promised to make it an interesting drive.
Badayer’s fog shrouded dunes greeted us as we set out for what would be a fun filled drive for our compact but experienced convoy this morning. By the time we had finished warming up, the fog had lifted, revealing our path towards Gravity Bowl and beyond.
The off-roading community was out in full force this morning as we gathered at a popular meeting point in Badayer – the sound of tyres being deflated providing the soundtrack for the day’s safety briefing. Not to be outdone, our Desert Fellas convoy was at the front of the pack.
