Big Red
Nightcrawler
Nightcrawler started closed to several camps and the smell of barbecue grilling signaling the start of the camping season.
Red dawn
It’s fortunate that Desert Fellas have a habit of gathering at the meeting point well in advance of the posted drive start time. On Saturday’s drive, this saved us from having to delay the start of our drive when we where confronted with an unexpected situation.
Moonside
Moonside started early morning. The temperature was within the low 30s.
La La Land
The sunrise greeted us on this warm but slightly less humid morning for the La La Land drive.
Thunder and fire
Thunder and fire starter early morning. But the temperature kept rising, summer has arrived.
Getaway
Getaway started early but we could feel the summer was starting. The temperature was getting warmer.
Breakfast on the boarder
With the season changing it brings a mystique to the desert in form of fog, and on this morning the fog was exceptionally heavy.
Basic training 6
Meeting in Nazwa today, at the same location as our friends from Basic training 5 was quite refreshing, especially since the Basic Training 6 convoy was so small.
Wrecking ball
Wrecking ball started early and we could feel the summer was starting. The temperature wasn’t as cold as the days before.
