Mid-Afternoon Desert Dash Through Al Faqqa and Silver Sun Pickup.

It was a perfect mid-afternoon for a fast-paced yet easygoing ride through the Al Faqqa desert and Silver Sun Pickup. A mix of seasoned off-roaders and some eager junior drivers gathered for a wild dash through our old stomping grounds. What used to be barren sand dunes were now dotted with bushes, making our usual smooth slopes a bit tricky. But that didn’t slow us down—because we knew the perfect route to keep the sand flying!

After hitting all the iconic spots on this side of Murqquab, it was time to shift gears, rally-style, and push our suspensions to the limit. We sped toward Amir’s Hill, where our convoy got down to some serious technical dune action, throwing in a bit of side-sloping and a few thrilling bowls for good measure. We wrapped up the adventure at Triple Tree, just in time to catch the sunset—slightly ahead of schedule, too.
