Daybreak Adventures in Big Bowl Country

At the crack of dawn, the roar of high-performance off-road beasts echoed through the air as we geared up for our warmup in Tilal, ready to shake off the dust with a thrilling “Shocks for the System” drive.

Starting near the Sweihan drag strip, we tackled the technical dunes, now peppered with shrubs that have transformed the landscape. But did they slow us down? Not a chance! Our efforts were rewarded with a well-deserved tea break at the pond, where the weather was perfect, and the banter even better.

Crossing the sabkha, we finally reached what we’d all been waiting for—the legendary BIG BOWL country. First stop: the drop-in, drop-out bowl, which got our adrenaline pumping. Next, we blasted through a few 360 bowl passes before diving straight into the Autobahn Bowl for some speed. A quick break at the infamous Death Bowl gave us just enough time to catch our breath before switching in and out of this little legend of a bowl like pros.

Still hungry for more, we wrapped up our morning at the G Bowl, where the speed limiters screamed in protest again as we pushed our machines to the edge. With time on our side, we finally headed for the exit, buzzing from the thrill of the ride.

Outstanding driving today, team! It was awesome to see everyone put their advanced training skills to good use. Soon, we’ll be heading to the big dunes, chasing even more epic bowls. Catch you on the slopes!
