Road Ranger
Road Ranger started as a nice gloomy morning, the rain showers started when we were deflating. We performed our safety briefing and we started moving towards our entry point.
After aboutย one km of dirt road we entered the desert, this area had starts off with technical dunes which are perfect for our warmup.
We kept moving towards the play area, we reached an area were there were long crests that allowed us to play for almost two hours. This area was great because there was no other convoy at sight and allowed us to enjoy nature in the rain. This also allowed our members to feel how their car behaves in the compact sand during rain.
After playing around we started moving towards our exit, I was still surprised that we did not find any other convoy, we did find a handful of people camping near our exit point.
Once we reached Triple Tree we moved near the road to inflate our tires and joke around, it is always a pleasure to see your guys every weekend. Thank you Martin, Fouad and Zoubeir. Hope to see you next week.

Sundays are still working days in my head. So to kick that ideology out, what else than morning drives!
I thoroughly enjoyed that part of the desert. I had never been there before and even the meeting point was nicely chosen.
To our surprise, no other convoys were in the area so we ploughed the pristine sand and left tyre marks everywhere!
Driving under the rain is not something I’ve done in a long time and certainly the sand behaves differently. I did enjoy it though and it was a good experience on handling the car.
Thanks everyone for joining the Sunday madness and onto the next one! ๐
The new weekend schedule is still very strange but this Sunday morning drive was truly great fun. Javier picked some fantastic lines and the small convoy piled through the technical areas and long side slopes without pause.
The persistent rain reminded me of a typical English summer and it was fun learning how the car handles in unpredictable terrain.
A great pleasure following Javier for the first time and reassuring to have Zoubeir keeping an eye on us from the back. It was also terrific catching up with Fouad after such a long time! Hereโs to the next one!
Fantastic drive with Javier and amazing support by Zuobair.
Very special safety briefing under the shower with valuable advice from the leader to deflate 2-3 psi more than usual- training never stops even in fun drives ๐๐ป
We enjoyed the drive as much as we did with those few mins break and discussion.
Good to see again Martin ๐๐ป
