Most Fellas on time today thank you, for those one or two who were few minutes behind schedule, please come early to deflate and respect the timing.
It was a really eventful morning, we a had special guest who is warm weather testing a new Jeep Gladiator, a nice surprise for the group and we are hoping to see more of Dragan 😁.
With convoy set Pradeep 2nd lead, James, Peter, Sven, Jan, Antony, Mahmoud, Dragan, Javier as sweeper and Salah as side sweeper. Radio checks done we stated moving to our entry point, it didn’t take long for the first stuck so our recovery team jumped into action, this be would be the first of many to come. The going was slow and we struggled to get a nice flow with many second tries and stucks to top up all of this we had a Fella damaging his radiator and had to be towed to the emergency exit to call a recovery truck. This is a good lesson for all on how important a proper skid plate is.
After all this action for the recovery team things started to pick up nicely and we decided as a group that we will go over time and enjoy the ride further. We had some nice side sloping and snaking on higher speed with good flow towards the exit not before we had to deal with a pop out. This was really great work out for Javier, well done!
We all finished safely in high spirits after 36km @ 10:17.

Quite amusing to see how the long wheelbase of the gladiator made thing a bit tough on some straight crests.
Good to catch that more techincla soft sand section to test our skills a bit.

Totally agree we had some challenges with some prospects needing some recovery and break down. Good practice for our recovery team though. 😁
