Off the Wagan
This was the first proper camp in many months and the report you are about to read can not do justice to the sheer majesty of this place.
Rigs loaded up with supplies and gear the campers all set off on a long drive to our meeting point. A few hours later everyone filled their tanks at the last fuel stop then headed to the deflation point.
As the convoy entered the desert we were blown away by the pure beauty and colossal size of these star fish shaped dunes! With heavy loaded cars and our passanger safley buckled up, it took some creative navigation to find the easiest route and fight the urge to climb every massive dune that completely surrounded us.
Not long after we reach the perfect spot to set up camp, just a few 100 meters away from the start of the best dunes in the area. After camp set up, a quick drive was on the menu to catch the sun set before we all gathered round the campfire with good food, friends and entertaining stories.
The next morning after breakfast was a really spectacular drive, but that is a totally different adventure on its own and we will come back soon to make more tracks.
Thanks everyone who made the long track out, I am sure you will agree just the views was worth the time. I’m already planning the next one, see you at cam soon.

The best camping experience what I had so far. Positive energy, good people, food, fun and drive. You can not ask for anything else. Hope to do it more often this season. Thank you Marshal Marc for fantastic organization and the rest of the team fo attending. I wish to share this experience with all fellas and their families.
Every Desert Fellas member should look forward to this type of camping, where positive vibes, cultural sharing and friendliness are at the forefront.
Words cannot describe the majestic dunes, blue skies with the occasional clouds.
From the start of the trip until the last minute, I was “WOWED!”
Dinner (and supper haha!) were scrumptious.
The morning drive was arguably one of the best I’ve ever experienced in terms of adrenaline, sheer beauty and convoy flow.
Thank you everyone for sharing these moments, your country’s food and most importantly your hospitality. And Marshal Marc for putting it altogether, herding the flock into the bandwagAn. I look forward to the next one!
It was well worth every KM from the start until we reached not only for the views and beautiful nature but also for your company, dream team! But above all, to a hungry man at least, good F&B 😁😁
Thank you Marshall Marc for the well organized camp, it was amazing to share this experience with you all.
Here’s to the next one.
