Midday Mayhem

Some fun practice for the warmer months ahead was the plan for Midday Mayhem drive.

After finishing up with our Jr lvl drive we waited for everyone to inflate and leave the desert safely to the tarmac. Now with everyone on their way the suporting team headed out to the dunes for a bit of serious driving to keep them skills honed.

Midday in the dunes meant that there were not many cars out and in this area there did not seem to be very many fresh tracks giving us some sharp peaks to crests. Starting off on some smaller dunes really got us warmed up with a very quick pace in some technical dunes. Sharp truns rapid switching and high revs kept us on our toes and grins wide towards the larger dunes.

Reaching the sand giants it was time to relish in some big climbs, fast bowls and tricky switches. The plan was not to measure the time spent on the sand but distance covered and because of the fast driving we got to spend some extra time at Faya dune cresting up and down the east and west peaks laying down some challenging fresh lines.

As the clock struck noon we headed towards the exit to inflate and leave satisfied with our whole morning out in the desert.

Super fun drive to keep the skills sharp and to enjoy the fast pace. Looking forward to another one like this.
