We set off early morning, greeted by the crisp air and a vibrant sunrise, which promised a drive full of adventure.

After a thorough and reassuring safety briefing from Sven, our sweeper, the excitement was palpable; everyone was eager to get started.

Our journey began near the Badayer shops, where the challenge of the dunes awaited. It quickly became clear that the drive would be fast-paced, testing our skills and our vehicles’ capabilities. As we conquered the first set of high dunes, Sven was constantly there, guiding and encouraging, ensuring everyone felt confident and secure.

During our first break, surrounded by the desert, the group’s energy was infectious. Everyone was sharing experiences and highlights from the morning with wide smiles. It felt like not just a break, but a moment to appreciate the shared passion that brought us all together. We then pushed on towards the Iftar Bowl, making a swift pass before heading to the Super Bowl.

Even with other groups nearby, our convoy moved smoothly, a testament to the training and coordination among us.

Ending our adventure, we sped back to the Badayer shops, completing a thrilling 81 kilometers. Reflecting on the day, it was not just about the distance covered or the dunes conquered, but the laughter, support from everyone.
