Let’s Roll
The morning was pleasantly cool with moderate humidity—ideal off-roading weather for this time of year. After preparing our vehicles and completing safety checks, we set out for another day of off-road excitement. We practiced a few technical sections and crossed the flat areas before reaching the start of the Bowls, where we encountered our first stuck.
While the sweeper handled the recovery, the rest of the convoy took in the beautiful views of the area. Once the vehicle was freed, we continued, tackling all the major dunes in the Hari Bowl area—our main goal for the day.
After finishing at Hari Bowl, we moved on to Raptor Bowl, where we enjoyed some fast-paced runs and climbs. Adrenaline levels rose along with our engine temperatures, so we took a break to cool down.
Following the break, we resumed side-sloping and took on sharp switches, where we had another stuck. Our sweeper managed the recovery perfectly.
Next, we headed to Death Bowl, practicing high-speed runs and several climbs over the dune top. After a short break, the convoy began to come together as a cohesive team. We completed the remaining route in an organized manner, enjoying some fun lines and side slopes along the way.
This drive presented several challenges for the convoy, but it also delivered a complete off-roading experience—featuring sharp switches, speedy side slopes, tricky stucks, and confident recoveries.
Thank you to the entire team for joining today’s drive. Special thanks to Jassim for taking on the role of second lead. A big shout-out to Marchin, Mark, and Sara for assisting with sweeping duties.
It was great to have Oriol back on the drive.
A real pleasure driving with all of you—see you on the sand again!
