Everyone knows off-roader Mike (RumbleBee), right?
He is always here to help by giving his best to support our drives, lessons, and everything what we are doing here. Recently he has grown a lot as a driver and his support is priceless. Always on time he didn’t mind where and when is the drive. He was always there. Now we feel is time to take him where he belongs, in Desert Fellas – SENIOR level!
Half a day of action and laughter, that would be the best description of the training today. All members had a chance to get stuck with their cars and to be pulled out, or vice versa. What did we actually learned? We learned procedure in case of desert stuck and many details about it. We also learned how to lead recovery procedure…
From the day 1 with The Desert Fellas, ChefMarc took offroading very seriously, attending our lessons and drives as much is possible. It was a great pleasure to watch him grow and develop techniques at every new drive. Due to his performance we decided to send him an invitation to attend to offroader level drive.
Finally, the Bedouin Style weekend – words are powerless to express!!!

The Bedouin weekend kicked off with a chilling Offroader trip through the wide sand dunes of Al Faqa area.
We started around 2.30pm with exploring the lovely area – with 1 stuck and 1 popout. Fellas, you were doing fantastic job, thanks again!
After nearly 2 hours of driving desertfox took over the lead to bring more action into the ride after a long and realaxed warm-up. Thanks desertfox, awesome job!
Around 5pm, the group was approaching the campsite where they were welcomed with arabic coffee and tea as well as dates and snacks. It was lovely ride and thanks to everyone who joined!
For today’s junior drive we had four cars which gave us a chance to pay more attention to individual drivers. This was good training and preparation of juniors for the next level.
We met at 8:00 as agreed and kick off with driving at 8:15 .
The warming up was very short followed by first challenge, to set the pace to continue with drive.
OK chaps, we did Ab Initio training No. 1 and I would like to say it was more than successful.
We were a small group of happy people. I cannot ask for anything better than that.
We started our talks with coffee at sunrise ,followed by equipment presentation we recommended for desert challenges.
That was a lovely trip with a little convoy – felt like a family excursion. Apologize again for delaying the start for 30 minutes, still we had an enjoyable ride – an quite easy route was chosen as we all wanted to take a breather 🙂 We crested dunes straight, some small slopes and even touched little bit on side cresting. After 45mins of driving we stopped for a 20 mins coffee and tea break to enjoy the peace of the desert. Heading towards the bbq spot, we passed few desert safari convoys and had the chance to practice recovering in tricky spot. Guys, fantastic done, hats off!
What a nice crowd this morning!!!
Meetup was 7:00 and everyone was on time. Respect!!!
A cool morning in the desert, warm coffee, driving with friends… who can ask for better start of the weekend?

I must say this was one of the most interesting and most positive energy drive til now.
First we were waiting for king of BBQ because his V8 was faster of 4G so GPS was serving outdated details 😀
