Despite a slightly longer drive to the meeting point, the reward was a nice change of scenery with some beautiful dune formations in Nahil. This area is renowned for its deep, soft sand but weaving between dips and bowls the convoy made rapid progress with some great side slopes and the occasional straight crest leading to the play areas. High climbs with fast paced turns were certainly appreciated considering the all-round smiles at the first break. Given the challenging terrain it was inevitable that a few second tries would be called but the team managed to pull off some amazing self-recoveries under the expert guidance of Marshal Javier, so only a couple of rope pulls were required.

Moving on towards Sweihan, the dunes became larger but with multiple convoys in the area the team dodged the traffic and found a less busy route in the direction of the exit point. After almost 3 hours in this stunning landscape, it was time to inflate and reflect on

Some great driving today fellas and, as always, my thanks to the incredible support by Ryan and Javier. I look forward to visiting this area again,
