Hyper loop
We reached to our deflation point with the air thick in humidity, already setting the tone for a desert adventure that promised more than a few challenges.
After letting some PSI out of the tires and wrapping up the safety briefing, our designated lead for the day unfortunately had to bow out. Not feeling his best, he made the wise call to seek medical attention after all, desert driving demands full focus and top form. But that wasn’t going to be the only curveball the day threw at us.
No sooner had we sent him home than our second challenge struck: one car suffered damage just minutes into the warm-up. Thankfully, we were close to an emergency exit, and the driver managed to reach safety before arranging recovery to the workshop.
With the morning’s hurdles behind us, the convoy tightened up and pushed forward. It was time to unleash some energy, and we did just that with a hyper loop around Nizwa’s stunning peaks.
From then on, the drive was pure magic flawless climbs, smooth bowls, and fast paced dashes across the dunes. We carved spectacular lines into the fresh slopes, turning the rough start into nothing more than a distant memory.
Despite the early “speed bumps,” we completed our planned route right on time. Everyone made it out safe, spirits high, and with some valuable reminders that in the desert, you should always expect the unexpected and be ready for it.
A huge thanks goes out to our safety crew, Ryan and Adam, for keeping us secure and guiding the convoy safely home.
