With everyone on time and deflated we manage to start the drive a few minutes before shedule.
As all drivers were a well experienced offroader team it only took a few minutes to warm up and switch from Jr Fun drive to offroader fly drive.
Taking full advantage of an empty desert all to our selves we crested every dune in sight. The convoy was supprised that Qudra area had such nice dunes and even though we have driven many time in this area there are still new dunes to be discovered .
Early on in to the drive we did manage to get 1 stuck on a sharp crests giving chance for a bit of recovery practice. The recovery process and safety precausions were spot on and even though the rear hitch failed, no one got hurt, no one vehicle sustained any damage and the stuck was recovered safely.
The second half of the drive we entered a technical area with bigger dunes and this really tested our skills with climds, cresting, switching and slope riding. It had everything we wanted in thrilling drive. The last few minutes of the drive we relaxed near an oasis to enjoy the view and each other company.
Thank Sarah, Malcom and Fouad for a great afternoon. See you un the dunes soon.

Good to see you back @sara
Thanks chef, Sara and Fouad for a great drive in al qudra, there’s still some life in that old dog! 😊
Today was a reminder that the expert advice and guidance by the Marshalls is second to none and is all about minimising risk, personally I’ve never witnessed a rear hitch receiver failing before but it’s no joke when it happens!
All in all a great drive!
