We’ve been here, we’ve been there, we were sloping everywhere…

We had rain, sun and everything in between… Today was a day for sloping. We went trough all techniques of sloping in different combination with lot of repetitions and tryouts. Finally, I saw some members are changing “road driving habits”.  But let’s start from the beginning.

We’ve meet on time (much appreciated), and after deflation was a short safety briefing followed by warming up drive. After warm up we reached first sloping area where we stopped and explain all important details about car behaving and handling situations during this exercise. We went trough potentially dangerous situations and how to respond to them on time. After first exercise we moved to next sloping area where we applied new knowledge and techniques increased for one step. After tree different sloping location we reached to main sloping area which was finale of today’s training. We were doing side slopes in high and low gear from both sides.

We had several stucks but it was sorted out with self recovery which was leaded by our members who finished Recovery Training, ChefMarc and Moamin. Informations during recovery were precise, accurate and all stucks where sorted out in no time.

Pros: Lot’s of members picked up today a lot. They gained confidence and showed much more skills than before. Support was fantastic! ChefMarc was perfect in his role as second lead and Moamin as sweeper. Communication was fantastic. All taken actions were done safely.

Cons: Everything was OK, only I would like to see more accurate following tracks during training trips and a little bit better communication in case of second tries.
