What a majestic sight it was this morning as we arrived in Sweihan to greet the sunrise after yesterday’s sandstorm.
The desert felt refreshed, with the dunes looking crisp and untouched, not a single track in sight. With the season starting to shift, we were greeted by a cool dawn just 30 degrees, perfect weather that already had me mentally planning the first camping trip of the season.

We kicked off the day with a brisk warmup, diving straight into the action. We gunned up the massive dunes and took on the longest slopes—usually riddled with bumpy tracks but today, they were smooth and seamless, like a dream.

In no time, we found ourselves halfway to Nagrah, making this part of our journey in under 30 minutes. We paused to take in the desert’s beauty as the rising sun painted the sands in stunning pastels of beige, pink, and purple.

The drive to Nagrah continued to amaze, with another rare sight—this giant dune was completely trackless. It felt incredibly satisfying to be the first to carve tracks into the pristine sand, like skiing in fresh powder.

On the way back, we decided to push the limits a bit more, cranking up the speed for a thrilling run to the exit. We carved spectacular lines and tackled challenging crests, reaching the exit ahead of schedule. We inflated the tires and headed home without even breaking a sweat.

An excellent morning out, and I can’t wait for the season ahead. See you on the slopes soon!
