Fun & Sun
Fun & Sun was without “Sun” but a very pleasant ride on the end.
Today’s drive was in beautiful Sharjah Desert close to “Mleiha Archeological centre“. Drive was relatively fast paced with lots of side sloping and climbing. It was like a dance with dunes but in a junior rhythm. The first part of the drive was warm up on familiar terrain, where we could see a clear difference in performance comparing with the trip from just a few weeks before. The group is progressing very fast. Today we had a few second tries, recovery and tire pop-out. So the ride was intermittent but despite that we managed to make a nice mileage and correct a few flaws in performance. We also had one jumpy situation where I saw a lot of positive elements in the reaction of individuals. In a short debriefing, we pointed out some elements and we make conclusions what helped us in our drive after.
Thanks Andres for acting second lead and Michael for keeping the guys safe and for being helpful all the way.
Looking forward to see you all on the next trip.
And those who are about to join us, please find out more about us, take look at our next Ab Initio trip and apply if you’re up to challenge.
Have a lot of fun & sun for the rest of the weekend.
Cheers!

It was a great morning after a while away from the desert , it was a good practice to myself which I extremely enjoyed.
Thanks Marko for the drive and Michael for the recovery and fixing my pop-out tire.
Comparing your drive two weeks ago and now was a huge difference on driving skills . Definitely your efforts & DF teaching techniques are making a difference on all of us . Thanks you guys for the nice drive. Fouad bring me a energy bar next time 🤣🤣🤣.
Next time I’ll bring 2 RedBull + the energy bar 😅
With every journey skills are developed, new offroad techniques become embedded in the team, we learn our cars, the roads, and how to flow together as a team. Thanks a lot and looking forward for more!
Thank you for the experience today, which to me was the combination of the humility in front of how easy the previous impossible felt, and how challenging the new experiences of the high dunes is. I really look forward to learning more!
