A blissfully quiet morning as dawn was breaking, setting the scene for a very relaxing few hours out in the desert.

A small group to brave the early hour but made it a very laid back atmosphere as we headed out to the first dune along a gravel track we even spotted a few oryx grazing. Once we reach the softer stuff the warm up went smooth and there were no other tracks to make our progress bumpy.

After a bout 30 min we had a easy little stuck on a straight crest that was quickly dealt with before reaching a more open area with long side slopes for fun and speedy rally session. With some big smiles and warmed up motors we to a breather next to an oasis before heading to the morning picnic spot for a bit of breakfast.

Under some shade and next to a lovely green lake, we set up the kitchen and got to flipping some blue berry pancakes topped with fresh cream and maple syrup. Here we spent a good hour enjoying breakfast and some spiced tea and taking in the calm of the morning and chatting about this seasons up and coming camping possibilities.

As the heat started climbing ot was time to pack up, head to the exit and smash a few more dunes to exit right on time as scheduled. Thank you Finnley and Ray for a fantastic morning and already looking forward to the next one
