A beautiful and relaxing trip on challenging terrain
It’s amazing how much nature is changing. The first time I visited this area there was an endless clearing with almost no grass. Now everything is the other way around. Overgrown areas with tufts of grass were threatening at every turn. Despite the demanding terrain, the area has been full of driving scars since Friday.
Thanks to experienced drivers, we started driving on time without too much talking before drive. A short conversation over morning coffee and straight to the warm-up. It is interesting to see the convoy moving through an area where not so long ago we were trying to cross some challenges. This time we just just flew over them like we were there every day.
Within the allotted time, we covered all the important points in this area and had time for pleasant conversations during the break. We were “everywhere”.
There were only a few second tryes and recovery which was handled by our recovery trainee. It was successfully without any help or assistance from my side.
Thanks to the whole team of participants and I hope to see you again soon.
Once more, big congrats to Juhan who work his way up to Offroader level. Good job!

A great trip in a great area where the pleasure to drive with very well trained drivers is a bliss !
First part untill Fossil Rock was the starter and going after to the dunes on the west side was the main course !

Today’s trip was the perfect refresher needed to start the new work week. It was a pleasure to meet the colleagues.
I have never been to that side of Fossil Rock and the wind created a beautiful dusty landscape.
Trip was a good mix of techniques learned.
I remember the last time I was in that area, we were taking Jr lvl 4 lesson. What a journey it has been! I’m grateful for all the lessons learned along the way which make me enjoy the desert more and more.
Here’s to valuable knowledge shared; as well as giving back to the community!
Such cold Saturday morning, we started on time and went through many challenges and practice the techniques learnt. Thanks to Marko for organising the trip, 2nd lead Vic, sweeper Zoubeir for great job and big five to Jhon for the new level achievement.

Great drive this morning made only better with the news of a level upgrade after. Loved the long breaks we had chatting a laughing at a silly F150Raptor driver trying his heart out! Just goes to show DF is more than just driving, we form friendships also. Once again thank you all! I love this club!!
