Let’s Get Busy – Report

Share with your friends!

What a beautiful day  in the Desert with lots of happenings.

We started half an hour later than planned.

The morning coffee went to get acquainted with the new members and exchange of thoughts about the basis of offroading and so on.

It was a great pleasure to meet some new faces and see my old friends.

After talking and theorizing, we finally moved on to the drive.

The ride was in Junior level.

After warm up, we arrived at the destination where we were training side sloping and straight cresting, than we separated advanced drivers and give them chance to ride in more appropriate level.

When exercise was finished we moved in very technical route as planned, which results with first stuck and self recovery.

The technical zone was very demanding with small and dense dunes and extremely soft sand.

All the drivers showed enviable skills and abilities.

I decided to raise level a little, which caused several stucks. Those stucks were a confidence booster for drivers and a good training for Najjar_safari who was support on today’s trip 🙂

During all the trip communication was excellent and the whole trip was under control thanks to RumbleBee and  Najjar_safari and of course to our drivers.

The effective driving time was 1:49 hrs / 35 kilometers

RumbleBee – you’ve been a great 2nd lead and thanks a lot for your support

Shahking –  It was real pleasure to meet you and would like to see you more on our trips. This level was too low for you and after what you showed today we are certain in that.

ChefMarc – You surprised me today. In less that one week you manage to complete all recommended safety equipment including  skid-plate. Your driving skills are picking up rapidly. Now you have theory and it’s time for more fun part, driving!!! Congrats for your well deserved flag.

Karim_samy – Welcome to our small company. Looking forward to see you on more drives in a future. From the beginning of the drive till end you picked up a lot. Good job bro!

Cooldisel – You did a great job today. This route was also confidence booster. Let’s see what will be after. Welcome!

Najjar_safari – You did amazing job today. Safety briefing was flawless same as recovery support today. Sweeping and communication was perfect. Leading is natural thing for you. I can see very good leader in you in very near feature. Good job and keep doing it as you do!

Thanks to all Fellas (ladies included) for a fantastic start to a weekend. Even though I’m new to dessert driving I can say I have truly caught the bug. Thanks for the challenge today and look forward to developing my skills. See you all soon.

  3. It was fun and I appreciate the time taken to breif everyone and the training 👍🏼☺️

  4. What an amazing drive.

It was a nice cool junior level drive but all the drivers demonstrated an exceptional level of drivin (amazing driving guys well done).

This trip I was placed as a sweeper/support it was an amazing learning experiance. I managed to do 2 recoveries and assisted in one self recovery.

Also thanks to our lead Marko for giving us some time to play around and get an adrenaline boost while he was demonstrating some JO technique to our new joiners.

Hope to see you all again on the sands soon

  5. Marco,

Thanks for a great morning. I love riding with your groups regardless of the trip level. You have a way of attracting great company and today was no different.

What I’ve come to expect from every trip is a complete safety briefing that is very comprehensive. Additionally, once the briefing is over, everyone knows what to expect for the trip. I am also a huge fan of the equipment inspections and ensuring that everyone in the group is prepared for any situation that may arise. Furthermore, this gives great perspective to the new drivers as to what’s expected of them and how being prepared not only helps them, but the group as a whole.

Love the ride, loved getting stuck, and as usual, I learn something new at every briefing and on every trip.

It was a pleasure to see everyone!
