Camel Walk
Today we had one latecomer, but he made it to line up on time.
It was fun, we had a lot elements in two quite challenging areas. Sand was tricky, lot’s of ditches, technical dunes but also flat areas where we push our cars.
As season is started I’d say “Eldorado” is all over the desert. Full of tracks, wannabe offroaders, people who camping and taking selfies in dangerous spots. This is very good alarm for us to take some extra attention.
Trip itself was quite smooth, thanks to good trip support as per new leadership dynamic. Our trip discipline is much better, information flow, communication and mutual understanding. Teamwork as it best. Just love it! Desert fellas are driving as a team, all together. Beautiful!
We had several stucks with self recoveries and we finished with 50-ish km more on our odometers.
Thank you all for taking part in this trip and again. You guys are very serious offroaders, well organized as team and your skills are just great!
Looking forward to drive with you again.
P.S. Please do not forget to leave comment and your impressions from this trip.

Everyone was in high spirits today and we started our briefing with Marko handing out chocolates. Safety briefing was a little different with each member having to recite one of the rules for safety while offroading.
We drove In a very technical area and at a very high pace. We all got to push ourselves and our cars.
I got exband my role as a second lead and I got my first go at using the GPS to lead the convoy for 1 km. My learning curve was to create my own tracks and to not lead the convoy into restricted areas🙈 Leading was scary knowing that you have to choose the right track for the convoy and not knowing what to expect ahead while looking at your compass but I knew I was in safe hands with Marko behind me👍🏼While I got to have fun🚙 I got a new appreciation for how hard our Trip Leaders work to give us a fun and safe drive.❤️
The Fellas all drove well today. Their learning curve was to maintain the safety distance in that they have to make sure that they are not leaving too big a gap between themselves and the driver in front. This is to prevent them from getting lost.. The Fellas also have to remember to communicate their second tries again this is to help the convoy to follow safely. This is also to ensure that the convoy wait so that they can re-enter the convoy. When they have re-enter the convoy they need to announce their entry so that the convoy can move again.
As always @Marko provided an excellent Offroader lead and Pragasan was a wonderful anchor with @Salah providing excellent sweeping. Until we meet again on the sand👑🚙💨
thank you for awesome feedback :beg: looking forward for next drive and next challenge
Lovely people and lovely drive , enjoyed watching sunset and drive
Thank you bro, see you next time
Once again simple and amazing, thanks fpr organizing the trip @Marko! lots of fun lots of respect for the restricted areas (No motorbikes and Vehicles sign) thanks @Rathica for the Ride, challenging track!! And the best was the Jeep Recovery using a bit of common sense and lots of experience from Marko.
Gracias!
cheers buddy and always pleasure to have you with us
An awesome trip by Marko as usual. Thank you Rathica and Preggy for being part of the support team, i think we are all communicating well together. I also want to thank all the Fellas who participated in the trip today for being on time and showing a high level of commitment and enthusiasm.
It was really encouraging to see everyone arrive so early and in good spirit, ready to chase the sunset.
Once we got through the technical bit the pace was increased. The fast pace was truly refreshing. I also enjoyed following Rathica’s lead for a short while. You’ve got guts girl💗.
Traffic in certain parts of Al Qudra was heavier than I’ve seen before. So for those of you venturing off on your own, be extra careful!
The drive was overwhelming led by Marko, Rathica and others. The team was on high spirit during the drive. The spot for sunset view was excellent. All in all, excellent drive and amazing people to be with. Had lot of fun.
