An unexpected cool morning breeze welcomed our trainees to another new area as we set out on our route from Nazwa farms towards Big Red.

Nearing the business end of the basic training course, our objective for the day was to bring together all the skills, disciplines and learnings from the last 4 weeks together under a more typical drive scenario.

Pretty quickly we found our rhythm and the convoy was flowing as one through technical areas, bowls and climbs, giving our drivers a chance to put techniques into practice on more challenging dunes.

Big Red provided the perfect grand finale for the morning as we hit the gas and made the sand fly on multiple climbs to the summit. A quick opportunity to admire the view and before we knew it, it was time to head to the exit.

The final lesson and graduation lies within reach now, can’t wait to catch up on the sand again after the Eid break.
