Basic training lesson 3

Usually, on Basic Training Lesson 3, we have a surprise for our trainees at the deflation point and today’s trip report photo is testament that the hot air balloons didn’t disappoint this morning either.

After some quick lessons on time management and tire deflation, we dove right into the action with a warm-up that swiftly evolved into a side-sloping session before the theory and practical exercises took center stage.

Today’s lessons not only taught our students a lot about car control and safety protocols but also translated into an immediate improvement in their driving. Sharper cornering, adept side-slope control, and smoother technical dune navigation were all on full display afterward, and the drive definitely amped up in both pace and challenges as everyone eagerly put their new skills into practice.

After a challenging 3 and a half hours, we exited the desert right on time to inflate tires, engage in some casual banter, and bid each other farewell until the next session.

Many thanks to Marcin for being the second lead and to Sven for handling sweeping duties splendidly today. See you all on the sand again soon!
